Hi, my name is Qufu!

I'm an artist, illustrator, and biologist based out of North Carolina. Much of my art is inspired by the natural world and the adventures I have been on. I love to spend time outdoors hiking, camping, and wandering the woods it fuels my creativity and helps me better develop my work.

I enjoy tackling complex topics through my art such as capturing the life cycle of an organism or showing a glimpse into a community (ie whalefall). For this to be done communication is key and in much the same way that a good story can capture and draw in the reader, I want my illustrative work to do the same.
